Anyone else miss dead loved ones during the holidays? Drop your stories below; I’ll read them. It’s supposed to be nothing but hot sexy joy around Thanksgiving and Christmas and I can’t be the only one who feels this sad stuff. Let’s share a little bit here — grief, favorite memories, pissed off feelings, whatever — in spite of our culture that expects us to keep this stuff to ourselves.
(Note: I am not religious but was raised Catholic and have the utmost sincerest respect for anyone who is religious and finds comfort in that.)
Hi if anyone hears of there is anything we can do to help Andrews family please let me know. Thanks
Have a great weekend.
There is an account on X/Twitter that I follow, his name is David Burge. Each weekend he does a series of posts called Dave’s car ID service. People submit family photos, both very old in recent with various vintage cars in them. Dave identifies the cars. A regular contributor each weekend was Andrew Wimsatt. David Burge has posted a tribute thread to him this morning, featuring all of Andrew’s contributions over the many years. The photos show Andrew with his family when he was a child and many vintage photographs of his relatives. It’s worth a look if you are so inclined.
