@KatTimpf hi Kat! the blanket is done except for the edging and I apologize for taking so long but Joe’s surgery is tomorrow and we have been doing doctors and doctors and doctors. My wife’s BFF since 13, found out she had breast cancer on her 60th birthday in 2021, it was metastasized, and stage 4.
She was only 4 weeks overdue for her scheduled mammogram.
In 2022, they discovered a brain tumor that was breast cancer. It was removed surgically, with no physical damage to her brain.
The only real effect is she’s lost her sense of time
She’s in remission and cancer is what will eventually kill her.
She goes in for checks and treatment every 6 weeks.
She plays ‘The Cancer Card’ on my wife all of the time.
She wanted to ride Jetskis around Key West.
My wife is not a big fan of swimming or the water.
Then I made a major mistake,
I let her read the disclaimer:
“Care must be taken when falling to the rear of the craft, the water exiting the ‘Jet’ could damage your anus or vagina causing death.”
“Oh hell no!”
“I’m dying, I have cancer, I want to do it, and I want you to do it with me.”
“Dammit!”
So we rented two jetskis from ‘Barefoot Billie’s’, ...
