Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦🍁
Now…..just finished what you started in 1867( and 1982) and cut all ties to the British Monarchy.
Much of the reasons for the Canadian reputation of “deffering to authority” and its moral superiority complex when compared to the US, is because for much of its history British Monarchy rewarded the “Dominion of Canada” as the good little obedient colony that wouldn’t dare do what those brutes in United States did.
One thing that Trump did to Canada,
is that he exposed the unreciprocated animosity that the average Canadian is allowed to have (and some times rewarded for) towards Americans.
It’s sad….while most Americans are rather apathetic to Canadians
Americans really don’t hate on Canadians
to they extent that Canadians CAN hate on Americans.
@Kattimpf I have to post this after the many discussions we have engaged in here about gross ladies rooms. Joe and I needed to go to Lowe’s for a new ceiling fan. And ok my fault for needing to check out so many of them…and time passing…and being on a diuretic, I usually make sure I can get home to my clean bathroom before it’s too late but nope! Nature called and I had to find their ladies room. I was dreading the walk down that hall. I walked in anddddd it was REALLY CLEAN 😱 Pristine even. Once my shock wore off I took a good look, blinked, and realized I was NOT hallucinating!!! Clean floor, clean stalls, no water puddles by the sinks…no pee anywhere it shouldn’t be. Full rolls of toilet paper and paper towels too. So I tip my hat to the Maryville/Alcoa Tennessee Lowe’s. What a surprising experience.
