There is an account on X/Twitter that I follow, his name is David Burge. Each weekend he does a series of posts called Dave’s car ID service. People submit family photos, both very old in recent with various vintage cars in them. Dave identifies the cars. A regular contributor each weekend was Andrew Wimsatt. David Burge has posted a tribute thread to him this morning, featuring all of Andrew’s contributions over the many years. The photos show Andrew with his family when he was a child and many vintage photographs of his relatives. It’s worth a look if you are so inclined.

@KatTimpf Mentioned this in the chat, but the earliest interaction I remember having with Andrew on Locals was talking about this band Uncle Acid and The Deadbeats. Andrew agreed that there would be a lot of overlapping appeal for people into the Brian Jonestown Massacre. He said he saw live on the same tour I saw them.
